Women's Metropolitan Arts Council (WoMAC) was founded in 2005 to represent the variety of professional women who support Phoenix Art Museum. Our mission is to support the Museum and its programs, promote art education among groups traditionally under-represented at the Museum and accomplish these goals while facilitating a valuable resource of networking opportunities among professional women.
WoMAC is governed by a board of directors and officers. Our membership represents a broad range of industries, including banking, law and health care. While our professional and personal backgrounds are diverse, we share a passion for the arts and for supporting Phoenix Art Museum.
WoMAC members are expected to share their time, talent, knowledge and experience. In return, they have the opportunity to network with a broad cross-section of like-minded women, while supporting Phoenix Art Museum and experiencing its permanent and visiting collections.
In 2008, WoMAC co-hosted Vin Arte in coordination with the Men's Arts Council (MAC). We also continue to host exclusive WoMAC tours, lectures and socials.
We invite you to learn more about WoMAC, our membership and upcoming events . If you would like more information on how to join this special group of fun, smart and successful women, please visit our membership page.
Most importantly, we encourage you to support Phoenix Art Museum and its wonderful programming.
