WoMAC has enjoyed a variety of educational programs that broaden our knowledge and appreciation of the arts. The list below describes some of the programs we have sponsored for our members in the past:
- "What is Art?" An Introduction to Art, by the Director of Phoenix Art Museum, Jim Ballinger.
- "The Art of Jewelry" by Patricia Gordon, renowned jewelry designer, who spoke about her fascinating career and provided educational information on rare collectable jewelry.
- Tour of the Asian collection, guided by Janet Baker, Phoenix Art Museum's Curator of Asian Art.
- Tour of Phoenix Art Museum's Collection and recent acquisitions, guided by Tom Loughman, the Museum's Curator of European Art.
- Tour of an exhibition of Judith Leiber handbags, guided by Dennita Sewell, Phoenix Art Museum's Curator of Design.
- Tour of the exhibition Surrealism USA, guided by the Museum's former Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, Brady Roberts.
- Tour of the exhibition Fierce Reality guided by Tom Loughman, Curator of European Art.
- Docent-guided tour of the exhibition Demonic Devine and designed our own mandala.
- Tour of the Phillip C. Curtis gallery. Mark McDowell, artist and good friend of Curtis delivered an engaging account of the artist and his work.
